The Anthropic Poop app collects nothing. This website is a set of static pages.

The app

Anthropic Poop, the macOS app, collects, stores and sends no personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party code in it.

The app has no network access. It never connects to the developer, to Apple or to anyone else, so nothing about you or your Mac leaves your computer through it.

What the app stores on your Mac

Three settings (how often it drops a file, how many files it keeps, how fast it walks) and a bookmark to the Desktop folder you chose, so the app can write there again without asking. All of it stays in the app's own preferences on your Mac.

What the app touches

The app writes image files whose names start with anthropic-poop- into the folder you chose, and removes only files with that name prefix. It asks Finder, through macOS automation, to place the icon of each new file under the creature. It reads nothing else in the folder.

This website

poop.strng.dev is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical request data such as your IP address, browser type and the page you open, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. The site itself sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
